Android OS on your PC!

An Android phone is cool. It's like an iphone but without the "i" and the "phone" aside from the apple logo placed at the back. But did you know that you can have an Android phone installed in your laptop? Yup.

You read it right.

So here's how to turn your laptops and desktops into your dream Android phone.

Step 1Downloading all the Requirements 

Step 1:

Download all the required Applications and Files to be used:

I. An android-x86-2.2-generic.iso
   from: code.google.com/p/android-x86/downloads/detail?name=android-x86-2.2-generic.iso&can=2&q

II. Download the Application VMware( for Windows) or VMware Fusion( for Mac)
from: http://www.vmware.com or from any other torrent sites
This application will serve you as your virtual desktop!!

Step 2 Install the Application

Step 2:

Install the VMware/ VMware Fusion that you've downloaded.

Step 3:

Open the VMware that you've just installed.

Select File: New then click on the "Continue without a disc" (For VMware Fusion)
               
Same goes with the Application VMware.

Step 3Setting Up the Android.iso file

Step 4:

 Select the "Use operating system installation disc image file"

 You'll now be asked to locate the .iso file.

 Select the file that you've downloaded a while ago( android-x86-2.2-generic.iso).

Click Continue.

Step 5:

Choose "Other" for both the Operating System and Version.

Then click Continue.

Lastly, click Finish!!!

Step 4 Booting Up Your Android OS

Step 6:

Your Android is about to start!!!

Select "Live CD- Run Android-x86 without installation (HDPI)"

click enter.

Your Android OS is now booting up. Wait for few more seconds...

And You'll already have your ANDROID OS RUNNING ON YOUR PC!!!

Step 5 ENJOY!!!!

Now that you have your ANDROID OS running on your PC's

You may want to browse over the net.
Set-up a Screen Lock just like the Android Phones
Or do anything you want!!!
